Mousse au Chocolat, I assume that this means mousse of chocolate in English? Enlighten me you French speaking people out there, conversing in one of the most beautiful languages of all time. This I believe, is the first white chocolate review that I have done so far, and it is by chance that I happened to have picked a Lindt. Their chocolates usually do not disappoint. In this case though, it does. As you may all know, white chocolate happens to have a ton of sugar, and from the ingredient list below, it is the first item on the list. It actually does not have any cocoa, just cocoa butter to retain the smoothness of the chocolate. I am also not a huge fan of the hydrogenated vegetable and palm oil that is added to this creation. A gigantic NO NO. Yes, this white mousse bar is smooth, as Lindt is very well known for however, it is not favourable here. Quite the contrary, the bar is oily, and much too rich. I can literally taste the thickness of the oil. Also, the sugar intoxication is overwhelming. Oh my, oh my. I have to go and play tennis for hours in order to let the mousse seep out of my pores. Also, the aftertaste is devastating, as though an individual took every possible sugar that he/she can find, mixed it all up, and stuffed spoonful's in his/her mouth. No, no, no. I do appreciate some aspects of this chocolate bar though, such as, hmmmmmmm, okay, here it is, the packaging. Very pretty and the white background with the gold embedded company name is very appetizing. I am sorry, I really tried to take pleasure from this mousse bar, but we just did not click.
