Okay, here it goes. I realize that this is not only a high-end chocolate brand that is supposed to be one of the best in the United States, but the company is apparently so picky, that they reject 40% of the cocoa beans shipped to them in order to select the "highest" quality seeds. Do not get me wrong, I think that this is a smart move, and very appreciated by people who are always in search for the finer chocolates in life, such as myself. Having said that though, I am truly disappointed with this creation of milk and white chocolate. At first bite, I am expecting something special, something smooth, just something. I am in for a bit of a surprise. Nothing, my palate says nada, and it is not longing for more. Surprise! The aftertaste in my mouth is bitter, but at the same time obnoxiously sweet. The type of taste that you would just want to erase with a quick toothbrush session. Seriously. I tried, I really did to like this chocolate, but I am sorry Ghirardelli, not this one. I am sure that they do make other chocolates and bon bons that are outstanding, and I will eventually get to devour them all. This was clearly not it.

My name is Soriah and I am an enormous lover of fine chocolates. I enjoy strolling through charming towns and by chance, finding a little, delightful chocolate gem hidden in the corner, offering bon bons that are ready to be just devoured.
