Once again to all my lovely readers, Day 17 of the Advent Calendar Edition will be described in a sentence or two for each competitor. I have noticed that all of you chocolate lovelies do enjoy the shorter versions of my blog quite a bit but unfortunately, I must admit that I love the longer posts!!! You are stuck with me, and my endless writing. Having said that, the hardship, suffering, difficulty, struggle, exertion, sweat, harsh critique, okay, okay, you get the point now! He He He He He. No explanations here, just straightforwardness. I hope that you enjoy it. Let the Choco games begin!

Until next year Kinder, make a change to your chocolates by incorporating a variety. Children just love surprises! http://www.chocolisciouslydelightful.com/budget-friendly-and-organic-budget-friendly-chocolates/chocoblogmass-advent-calendar-edition-december-2-or-day-2 LINDT - CHOCOBLOGMASS ADVENT CALENDAR Okay, here it goes, I will finally spill the beans as to how the whole shebang experience went down. I was having a fabulous day last Saturday, getting my little to-do list done such as shopping at one of my favourite organic markets, stopping for coffee at Starbucks, making it to Banana Republic for a little peak at all of their goodies, and finally, I ended up at the Lindt Boutique. Surprise, well not really! It was somewhat busy, but not enough that I would have needed to wait until someone approached me with my concern. I was right. Immediately, a girl offered me a sample, the same, and only, the one kind that they always do. I have asked them in the past as to why they do not give tasters of their other bon bons; well, these are apparently the “most affordable.” Lindt is doing business after all. Anyhow, back to my attempted return. The girl could not help me but instead, asked the manger to step in. Here was this mid-aged woman, lurking at me with an evil grin, walking slowly towards me, but in the most unusually nervous way, actually quite a bit as her hands were in extreme shaking mode. Perhaps too much chocolate or…..... let’s not even go there, for the sake of respect. I told her specifically what the issue was with this Advent Calendar, and the fact that it was not only rancid and stale, but perhaps it was last year’s chocolates stamped and sold for this year’s Christmas. She assured me numerous of times that this was not the case but I was, and still am not convinced. She tried to open some of the day Advent Calendar pockets in order to reveal the treat of the day, as well as to count how many chocolates were consumed. However, her hands were shaking so much that she was successful with only a few windows, and just gave up for the rest. At that point, another girl asked me if I had purchased this Advent Calendar more than 30 days ago. I was completely honest and told her that yes, I did buy it when Lindt first received its Christmas collection for this year, which was OVER 30 days ago. I literally was one of the first people to take it home as I was really excited to test. Little did I know! That said, they both told me that they would not return the Advent Calendar, not even exchange it. This was the response that I received for the opened and unopened box. I originally purchased two therefore, one was brand new. I could not believe what I was hearing. This is the Lindt Boutique everyone where customer service I thought was, and should be of utmost superiority. Was I ever wrong! These employees actually made me feel as though I had committed a crime. Wow, what a disappointment. I then told them that I am leaving both Advent Calendars on their counter, the opened and unopened box. I then just “stormed” out. Shame on Lindt for this negative scene. Imagine if a child walked into the Lindt Boutique to return one of the Advent Calendars, purchased with money that they saved up for months on their own only to be refused. My heart goes out! Terrible experience that I do not wish it upon anyone. Well, this is unfortunately the end of the road for Lindt. From here forward, they will be completely omitted from this Advent Calendar competition, and perhaps even scarred for life. "All you had to do was make the customer happy Lindt!" Without customers, you have no Lindt! Chocolisciously Delightful Ingredients: Sugar, Milk Ingredients, Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Mass, Lactose, Coconut Oil, Hazelnuts, Palm Kernel Oil, Soya Lecithin, Barley Malt Extract, Artificial Flavour Chocolisciously Delightful Rating: 0.0 / 5.0 SINFULLY THE BEST - CHOCOBLOGMASS ADVENT CALENDAR What a festive little gem. Reindeer is the theme for today. That is absolutlisciously delightful but at the same time, absolutlisciously cheap quality. Why the double standard??? Why oh why do I have to see all these at the wrong places and the wrong time? I told myself a million times I would cut down on sweets but I can't believe I am looking at my favorite brands in one blog page. Next thing I know, I am ordering online. I am trying to stay away from the stores I usually walk into but I guess they have now found their way back to my heart thru web. It's so sweet. I guess I shouldn't even think about quitting.

Hi there chocolisciouslydelightful individual, you do not have to cut out chocolate by any means. The only thing that you do need to alter is the type of chocolate or chocolate infested sweets that you are consuming. Cacao in its raw form is one of the healthiest food on this planet, from helping with cardiovascular health to strengthening the immune system. Look for chocolates with a cacao contest of at least 70% and choose one with only a few ingredients, first one needs to be the cacao, not sugar or an alternative sweetener. If you do not fancy dark chocolate, you can pick up something with a lesser cacao content but once again, make sure that the ingredient list is to a minimum. Thank you very much for your adorable comment. Keep smiling and when life gets impractical, reach for some choco! XOXOXO Soriah
