BUTTER PISTACHIO MARSHMALLOWS

Okay, let's try this review once again. I made my first attempt on writing a review about these marshmallows on March 23, 2015. You can read this post if you go back on my timeline. The marshmallows were unfortunately stale, and it would not have been reasonable to make a fair judgement. I managed to successfully exchange the marshmallows. The girl behind the counter at Butter Baked Goods was very friendly, and she gave me a replacement immediately, no questions asked. She also took all of the "older" pistachio marshmallows off the shelf, and at once, disposed of them. Wow, great service. I was impressed. I have since been making weekly trips to Butter as their latte and mocha beverages are amazing. The atmosphere is not too shabby as well. The café looks like it came off an Alice in Wonderland movie set. Too adorable and sooooo girly. I love it. Okay, off to the review now. The marshmallows eaten on their own, as though they are some sort of a candy, sends no positive impressions on me. What is all of this hype? I do not perceive these marshmallows any different from the ones that you purchase at the supermarket at a much more affordable price. Butter marshmallows - they will break your piggy bank at $8.00 per small bag. I find that a bit exaggerated if you must know. The only taste variation is the fact that the Butter marshmallows are flavoured with all sorts of fancy ingredients, and the average marshmallows are not. Oh, I almost forgot, at the least though, the packaging is cute. This would make an amazing “sorry” or “I love you” gift. Let’s not forget the “you are my best friend” gift. You get the point. In order to give these little, mushy marshmallow guys a fair review, I dunked them in hot milk mixed with chocolate powder. They stayed afloat for about 5 minutes before completely submerging. I must admit though, that the marshmallows taste much better with the milk as opposed to eaten just like that. I guess that is their intention the whole time anyways. Who would want to eat marshmallows on their own? Let me know in the comment box below please. There must be a whole “marshmallow eating club” that truly enjoys many variations of these spongy edibles. I do acknowledge that with the preparation of hot milk, the marshmallows are right at home. They taste fantastic, and the milk becomes super creamy with a tinge of pistachio taste. The sugar content in the marshmallows is not overwhelming, just subtle enough to sweeten and give taste to this hot beverage. I am impressed.

My name is Soriah and I am an enormous lover of fine chocolates. I enjoy strolling through charming towns and by chance, finding a little, delightful chocolate gem hidden in the corner, offering bon bons that are ready to be just devoured.

TO MY CHOCOLATE CUTIES OUT THERE, PLEASE NOTE - I do not discriminate between $$$$$. No, seriously, expensive or budget-friendly, all that really matters to me is whether my taste buds are doing a little hola dance, or sitting in the corner, tearing up. Oh, I almost forgot, quality ingredients in the chocolate is a huge added bonus. That is another great importance that reflects my final rating.
