Easter came and went this year, ever so quickly, and these adorable, little, blue eggs are just one of the items that I purchased to test out, and eat of course. By the way, they do taste as good as they look. I initially thought that these Robin eggs would have a hard shell that do eventually melt. You do get that feeling, but only after it mixes with the heat of your mouth. These are the softest and smoothest Easter eggs that I have ever tasted. "The form-5 beta crystal structure is the most stable form of cocoa butter crystallization, created through the controlled melting and subsequent cooling of liquid chocolate giving our chocolate it's brilliant shine and crisp snap", according to the Beta 5 company. I completely agree. Each egg is composed of a 63% dark chocolate shell. Once you devour into the middle of the egg, it is complete bliss, a huge peanut butter infestation. Yum. Please note everybody, I meant to say "organic" peanut butter infestation. Do ya know what I'm sayin'.... Are you down with this.... Seriously, it is delicious. Smoothness + chocolate + peanut butter with ingredients that you can actually pronounce = Sacred!
