Isn’t this photo just awesome, the dark chocolate in front of the bookshelf background? I just love it since am obsessed with the smell and feel of books. Let’s not forget the shiny pages of photos. Nothing beats a paper book, I am still old-fashioned in that sense. I am not a huge fan of reading on my iPad, nor iPhone, e-reader or computer tablet. I just do not know why. However, I do appreciate the convenience of having ten books stored in my electronic devices though when I am travelling, but that is as far as it goes. At home, I love, love, love my paper books. Okay, I get carried away at times therefore, here is the review. This Ecuadorian Dark Chocolate is fairly good, although a bit on the bitter side, more so than the 99% dark chocolate that Lindt has to offer. The beans are harvested in the tropical coastal areas of Ecuador, and that is the reason for this harsh aftertaste. It is still creamy, and the melting action is fine, but there is a very faint sandy taste. I am a bit surprised about that since Lindt is known for their famous cocoa butter in all of their chocolate bars, larger amount in some than others such as the Lindt Truffle Balls. I do appreciate the ingredients as there are no artificial flavours nor any hydrogenated oils of any kind. This Chocolate bar offers a very intense flavour. If you are looking for something that will give you a “pick me up jolt” without the sugary effect, then this Lindt Excellence Ecuador 75% Dark Chocolate Bar is just for you. Pair it up with a good sweet fruit and you have yourself a real healthy treat.

Dark chocolates are known to be healthier than the regular chocolates, some people have switched to consuming it more. I loved how you placed the Lindt dark chocolate behind your books. I also have the same love for paper books, I prefer it more rather than having copies in my phone. Though it is very convenient and can be downloaded which costs nothing, but the feeling of reading a physical copy is better. The texts are larger and the smell of each pages is what most book lovers admire about it.
